Job Description:
Title: Big Data Lead (Snowflake)
Location: Lancaster, PA (Remote until Covid)
Duration: Long Term Contract or Fulltime
Job Description:
- Minimum of 7 – 8 years of related work experience.
- Two or more years of experience in Snowflake, architecting and delivering Enterprise Data Solutions including Data Lakes, Data Warehouses and Data Pipelines.
- Experience with modern data movement, storage, management and security technology and tooling.
- Design scalable patterns and architecture to support both batch and real-time data products & platforms using Snowflake.
- Ensure physical and logical data models are designed to support future, unknown use cases with minimal rework.
- Show expertise for data at all levels: low-latency, relational, and unstructured data stores; analytical and data lakes; data streaming, data in-transit.
- Contribute to the direction, road map and standards for functional, process and technical Data solutions.
- Evaluate and advise on local or domain data architecture solutions for medium to large portfolio projects.
- Analyzing and translating business requirements into functional and technical requirements and design.
- Must be able to understand requirements, create and review designs, validate the architecture, and ensure high levels of service offerings to clients in the technology domain.
- Should participate in project estimation, provide inputs for solution delivery, conduct technical risk planning, perform code reviews and unit test plan
- Designing, implementing, and analyzing high performing queries.
- Lead the way in creating next-generation talent, mentoring internal talent and help leadership in recruiting external talent.
- Help with intake prioritization.
- Experience with modern engineering practices and how to use and apply them to Data Architectures and solutions.
- Experience with data modelling, data warehousing, reverse engineering and building high volume ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Experience with integration of multi cloud services with On-premises technologies.
- Must lead and guide your teams towards developing optimized high-quality code deliverables, continual knowledge management and adherence to the organizational guidelines and processes.
- Should be a key contributor to building efficient programs/ systems and if you think you fit right in to help our clients navigate their next in their digital transformation journey,
