Job Description:
As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for:
- Working closely with customers project managers to provide the daily status on the program
- Provide support in defining the scope and sizing of work
- Lead designing of all aspects of our data solution including artifact creation such as diagrams, playbooks, and other technical documents.
- Translate business requirements into technology solutions
- Mentor and guide Jr. team members to deliver the solutions on-time.
Skills:
- Over all 8 to 10 years of experience in Data Architecture and Data Management.
- 2+ years on AWS Cloud
- Experience with AWS Redshift: Managing cluster, running SQL queries, connecting through JDBC connection, Creating and running complicated stored procedures
- Experience with MS SQL Server: Running SQL queries, Creating and running complicated stored procedures, analytical queries using cubes
- Code migration experience from SQL server to AWS Cloud, preferably Redshift.
- Experience with managing storage on the Cloud with S3
- Experience with working in Terabyte scale databases
- Experience with AWS Glue, Athena and Data Catalogs
- Experience with interfacing with onsite customer and offshore teams, resolving conflicts and increasing client satisfaction
- 1-2 years of MS SQL server to Redshift data migration experience.
