Skillset
- Establishing Data Governance (DG) Function across multiple LOBs
- Developing principles, policies, standards for DG
- Developing a Data Governance (DG) Operating Model
- Develop Data Governance (DG) / DQ Metrics
- Document and rationalize taxonomies
- Develop Data Governance (DG) processes for Big Data & Analytics and AI / ML Governance.
- Familiarity with metadata mgmt. tools like Atlassian, Collibra, Big ID
- Excellent communication skills
- Technical data background is needed.
Key deliverables
- All physical objects within either the Snowflake Prepared or Curated zones have equivalent Business Terms, business stewardship and associated governance metadata captured in Collibra
- Each Corporate Function represented in the analytical platform maintains forums to discuss Data Management and Governance practices including operating/tactical working groups as well as strategic steering committees
- A cross-Corporate Function operating group will be developed to foster best practices and communication Relevant metrics and KPls from the Enterprise DMC will be supported
- Cross-Enterprise Corporate Function data sharing needs are properly prioritized by business and technical groups, facilitating conversations and deep dives where necessary ·
- Each Corporate Function business group has a value adding presence in Atlassian and Collibra
- CTG management is kept up to speed regarding the status of the Data Management and governance programs for each Corporate Function
- Enterprise and CTG data governance standards are maintained with consistency, including data lab governance, role based access, and Highly Confidential data controls
- Regular communication with multiple groups regarding progress including Data Management Chapter, COE and Squads
- All document business governance assets are aligned to the Enterprise taxonomy and have an owner and steward.
